Owner Role & Ownership Transfer

Full administrative access. The Owner role grants full access to all functionalities in the Atlar platform. Owners are responsible for:

  • Setting up approval chains
  • Managing users and roles
  • Configuring organization-wide settings

Transferring Ownership

Ownership can be transferred to another user if needed—for example, during an administrative change or team handover.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to User Management → Users in the Atlar dashboard.
  2. Double-click the user you want to make the new owner.
  3. In the top-right corner, click Actions → Edit.
  4. Change the user’s role to Owner, then click Save.

Important: Only existing Owners can transfer ownership. Ensure the recipient is fully aware of the responsibilities and risks associated with this role.


After the Transfer

  • The previous owner can be assigned a different role if necessary (e.g., an everyday operational role with limited access).
  • For security, review all user roles and permissions to ensure compliance with the principle of least privilege.

Recommendation: Assign the former Owner a non-administrative role for routine work to avoid accidental changes to critical settings.
